Just as Owl swoops down on her prey with precision and swiftness, we are called to search out those aspects of ourselves, rooted in the depths of our subconscious mind that sabotage life and serve lies.
Owl reflects silent wisdom, hinting at ancient secrets waiting to be revealed by the light of the moon.  Golden yellow eyes are symbolic of the sun, which is always present even in the deepest darkest night of the soul.
The winged Egyptian goddess Isis, seen in the background, was the 'queen of heaven' in ancient Egypt.  Her priestesses were skilled healers and midwives, rumored to have magical powers.
